Ballr NRL SuperCoach Team List Tuesday podcast analysis NRL Round 20

We're starting the the run home for NRL SuperCoach and the Ballr NRL SuperCoach Team List Tuesday crew of Matt, Dan and Cracker have got you covered for Round 20.

The Ballr NRL Team List Tuesday crew previewed a massive NRL SuperCoach Round 20, with host Matt Rix joined by Danny Boy and Cracker to map out the ultimate run-home side and untangle this week's toughest captaincy and sit-start calls.

Captaincy: Nicho Hynes vs Nathan Cleary

The headline strategy discussion centred on Nicho Hynes and Nathan Cleary, the competition's two standout scorers heading into the run home. Hynes is averaging 99.5 points per game after an explosive 196 last round, while Cleary sits close behind at 98.3.

With the Sharks and Panthers boasting two of the friendliest run-home draws in SuperCoach, the panel debated a "double dip" strategy — running both at captain and vice-captain each week by shuffling a third halfback or five-eighth into the side.

Hooker Battle: Blayke Brailey vs Harry Grant

At hooker, Blayke Brailey and Harry Grant remain locked in an even projection battle - Brailey projected around 80 minutes for a 74-point average against Grant's 71 in roughly 75 minutes.

The Sharks' dominant winning margins were flagged as a potential drag on Brailey's base points, while Grant could see increased attacking involvement with key Storm teammates sidelined - if they get the chance to play on the front foot.

Front Row and Second Row Depth

Payne Haas was tipped as the clear buy of the week at front row, priced near 669k with a breakeven of 54 and a projection around 81, with Xavier Willison floated as a handcuff option.

Terrell May and Keaon Koloamatangi also featured prominently, with Koloamatangi backed after a strong 80 points from 80 minutes off a favourable bench.

In the second row, Haumole Olakau'atu, Dylan Lucas and Hudson Young were locked in as the "holy trinity," with rising Rabbitohs centre Tallis Duncan also earning strong praise for his recent form.

CTWs and the Run Home XIII

Elsewhere, Herbie Farnworth and Isaiah Papali'i were discussed as key run-home assets, while Simi Sasagi's underwhelming return from injury sparked debate about Canberra's attacking structure.
