The Ballr NRL SuperCoach podcast crew of Jono and Tubes broke down a challenging Round 26 and how it will cause huge issues in Round 27 in the latest edition of the Sunday Snap.
The last Sunday Snap of the NRL SuperCoach season reviewed Round 26, with hosts Jono and Tubes closing out the end of the head-to-head season on contrasting notes.
Jono posted a solid 1290, while Tubes edged him out with 1333 to keep chasing rivals in the Ballr podmasters league, even as he admitted to feeling a post-Origin slumber after a quiet few weeks of viewing.
The pair also crowned their season-long SuperCoach award winners. Kulikefu Finefeuiaki claimed the most-nominated Ready to Explode gong after three call-outs across the year, while James Tedesco was named Rage Trade of the Year after four nominations tied to Origin-period form dips and recent injury.

NRL ladder to cause SuperCoach drama
The big story on the ladder heading into NRL SuperCoach Round 27: the top eight, top four and top two are all locked in. The Sharks are pinned to fifth, the Cowboys are locked into seventh or eighth, and only the Rabbitohs and Knights are fighting it out for sixth. A Rabbitohs win sends them there, while a loss hands it straight to Newcastle.
Expect widespread resting across the competition next week, which the hosts warned could cause final week SuperCoach carnage.
Biggest NRL Round 26 news in review
On the field, Cam Murray's monster 174-point haul against the Titans, including two tries, two assists and three line breaks, headlined the round and ranks among the highest scores ever posted by a backrower.
Tallis Duncan bagged a brace in the same game, while Tino Fa'asuamaleaui continued his red-hot four-week stretch with 120 points.
Haumole Olakau'atu (117) and Jacob Laban (128) also starred, and the Cowboys-Tigers clash finally broke Ballr 'head honcho' Matt's long-running curse.
Injury clouds hang over some well-owned players. Sam Walker requires syndesmosis surgery, ending his season, Sualauvi Fa'alogo's shoulder is a concern for the Storm, and Nathan Cleary's SuperCoach output has dipped since Isaah Yeo went down.
There was a happier story in the Warriors camp, where Jett Cleary impressed on NRL debut after a late call-up.
With one Team List Tuesday left before finals, Jono and Tubes flagged Tyran Wishart (Bears) and Oryn Keeley (Storm) as early names to watch for 2027 NRL SuperCoach drafts.
